At Take Care, we are committed to providing immediate and reliable support for high-risk youth in Halifax. Our mission is to ensure safety and stability through 24-hour emergency placements, fostering a secure environment for vulnerable youth.

About Take Care

Take Care Specialized Support Services is a Black-owned, BIPOC-specialized residential care provider headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our primary mandate is to serve youth between the ages of 10 and 18, including high-risk youth, youth with complex behavioural needs, and justice-involved youth. Our organizational capacity extends to providing services for all children, youth, adults, and seniors, ensuring no individual in need is turned away on the basis of demographic background.
